Princess party experiences can vary between entertainment companies. At Fairytales & Heroes, our Los Angeles princess parties are designed as fully interactive celebrations led by professionally trained performers in exquisite costumes.
We offer one all-inclusive princess party experience rather than asking families to choose between different activity levels or purchase individual entertainment add-ons. Families simply choose the party length that best fits their celebration and number of participating children.
Every princess party includes a magical meet and greet, dancing and sing-alongs, sparkly gems, themed temporary tattoos, balloons, photo opportunities, and cake cutting assistance with Happy Birthday. Our princesses may also lead simple or themed games when time allows.
The amount of time spent on each activity may vary depending on the party length, number of children, available space, and natural flow of the celebration, but the main activities are included in every princess party.
A Magical Meet and Greet
The celebration begins with the princess making her grand entrance and greeting the birthday child and guests.
Our performers arrive fully dressed and in character, ready to bring the princess’s personality and story to life. The princess may speak with the children, answer their questions, share hugs, and make the birthday child feel like the guest of honor.
For the smoothest entrance, we recommend scheduling the princess at least 15 minutes after the invitation start time. Approximately 30 minutes after the party begins is usually ideal because it gives guests time to arrive, park, and settle in before the entertainment starts.
Dancing and Sing-Alongs
The princess leads the children in dancing, sing-alongs, and interactive movement inspired by her character.
Children may dance beside the princess, sing along to favorite songs, or watch until they feel comfortable joining. Our performers encourage participation without placing pressure on children who may initially feel shy or hesitant.
Providing a clear and cool activity area with enough room for the children to gather, dance and move safely helps create the best experience.
Sparkly Gems, Themed Tattoos and Balloons
Every Fairytales & Heroes princess party includes sparkly gems, themed temporary tattoos, and balloons.
These activities give each child an opportunity to enjoy a special moment with the princess. While applying a gem or temporary tattoo or creating a balloon, the performer can speak with the child, answer questions, and create memorable one-on-one interactions.
The temporary tattoos are selected to complement the princess or party theme whenever possible. Designs may feature royal, magical, winter, under-the-sea, or other coordinating themes.
Because these activities require individual attention, the number of participating children affects the pace of the party. A longer appearance may be a better choice for a larger group so that the experience remains fun and does not feel rushed.
Party Games
When time allows, our princesses also lead fun and engaging themed games.
These may include familiar favorites such as Freeze Dance, royal poses, character-themed movement games, or another easy activity connected to the princess and party theme.
For example, the princess might invite the children to freeze in magical poses when the music stops, practice royal movements, or complete a playful challenge inspired by her story.
Photos, Cake Cutting and Happy Birthday
Photo opportunities are included throughout the celebration. Parents can capture the princess’s entrance, dancing, individual activities, and special moments with the birthday child and their friends.
The princess can also pose for individual photographs, family pictures, and group photos with the guests.
Near the end of the appearance, she can help gather everyone for cake cutting and lead the Happy Birthday song. We recommend having the cake, candles, and lighter ready before the performer’s scheduled departure so this special moment does not feel rushed.
