TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Booking and Payment

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking to secure your event date and time.

• Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full to the performers on the day of the event in cash (preferably) or by Zelle/Venmo.

• Gratuities: Gratuities are not included in your balance. If you feel the performers provided exceptional service, we kindly encourage you to show your appreciation with a tip.

• Payment Methods: We accept payments via Cash/Venmo/Zelle

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made less than a week before the event, but we’re happy to assist with rescheduling within next 12 months (subject to availability).

• Rescheduling: We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests, provided they are made at least 7 days in advance and are subject to availability.

3. Character Appearance

• Costumes and Characters: We strive to provide the highest-quality costumes and professional performers. However, costumes may sometimes vary due to performer size and availability. Rest assured, all costumes meet our high standards and are designed to create a magical experience.

• Substitutions: In the rare case a specific character costume is unavailable, we will notify you and provide a suitable replacement or full refund for that character.

• Character Image Disclaimer

Please note: The character images on our website and promotional materials are intended to represent the costume quality, styling, and overall spirit of the character experience — not to guarantee a specific performer.

Our performers are all highly trained, professional, and carefully cast to bring each character to life with consistency, charm, and enthusiasm. While we do our best to accommodate preferences, we cannot guarantee a particular individual unless pre-arranged. Rest assured, the costume, character portrayal, and magical activities will always meet our high Fairytales & Heroes standards.

4. Event Requirements

• Supervision: A responsible adult must be present at all times during the event. Performers are not responsible for supervising children.

• Safety: Clients must ensure a safe environment for performers. Any dangerous or inappropriate behavior may result in the performer ending their participation.

• Performance Area: A clean, dry, and shaded (if outdoors) performance area must be provided. Performers are not responsible for weather-related issues.

5. Photography and Media

• Consent: By booking our services, you agree that we may capture photos or videos during the event for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to have photos or videos used, please notify us in writing prior to the event.

• Client Media: You are welcome to take photos and videos of our characters during your event for personal use only. Commercial use is prohibited without prior written consent.

6. Liability

• Accidents: Fairytales & Heroes is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur during the event. Clients are responsible for ensuring a safe environment.

• Damage: Clients are responsible for any damage to costumes or props caused by attendees.

7. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, emergencies, or performer illness. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or refund payments as appropriate.

8. Code of Conduct

• Respect: Our performers are professionals and must be treated with respect. Any inappropriate behavior toward performers may result in the immediate termination of services without a refund.

• No Smoking/Drugs: Smoking or the presence of drugs near the performance area is strictly prohibited.

9. Changes to Terms

Fairytales & Heroes reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be available on our website.
